Ramparts to Oldbridge Nordic Walk – Trails and Tides Weekend

After a short Nordic Walking Lesson, follow the River Boyne along Drogheda’s most scenic and historic riverside routes.

As part of the “Trails and Tides” weekend, join Nordic Walking instructor Martina along Drogheda’s most scenic and historic riverside routes. The day will start with a short Nordic walking lesson, followed by a 15km moderate walk, that goes along the Boyne Ramparts before connecting with the Boyne Greenway boardwalk.

A short stop at Oldbridge for some refreshments from our rucksacks before returning to Drogheda. The return journey offers impressive views of the River Boyne and a gorgeous entrance back to Drogheda town.

Nordic poles will be provided. Moderate pace over flat terrain.
