Boyne Valley Trails is pleased to collab with Four Shore Adventures as part of the “Trails and Tides” weekend.
On Friday 29th May, join guide Max on this scenic and historic adventure down the River Nanny. Suitable for families and beginners and all equipment will be provided.
A two-hour guided paddleboard journey along one of Ireland’s most scenic and storied waterways.
Starting at Laytown beach, you’ll paddle from the sea into the estuary and deep into the River Nanny, with ancient history, rich wildlife habitats, and ever-changing landscapes around every bend.
Here’s what’s in store for you:
- Launching from Laytown beach at the mouth of the River Nanny
- Paddle from sea to estuary to river on a two-hour journey
- Discover ancient history along the riverbanks on the route towards Julianstown
- Spot coastal and freshwater wildlife as habitats shift around every bend
- Small group experience for an intimate, guided adventure
