Welcome to the Boyne Valley Trails September Walking Festival.

Join us on a guided tour of Barmeath Castle and estate. The Castle stands on the sheltered slopes of a wooded hillside in County Louth. This moderate walk takes us around woodland, open fields, lanes and walled garden. On a good day views extend to the Cooley Peninsula and Mourne Mountains. A hidden gem . Please note: This is a moderate walking tour-expect hard terrain, grass and uneven lands-mucky in places. Please wear appropriate footwear.

We will be capturing photo and video content as part of the Boyne Valley Trails September Walking Festival.
