Edentubber Loop Walk
We are heading for the hills this time for a more challenging walk. This area of Louth is a hidden gem of stonewalls, monuments and stunning countryside. You will need to pack the waterproofs, hats and gloves for this one and ensure you have walking boots. The walk is a 14km loop starting from the Carrickdale Hotel taking in some boggy ground as well as tracks and road. As always we will have a few stories to tell along the way with Dusty & Crew.

Directions: – Leave the M1 (Northbound) at Exit 20 -Turn Right at the top of the exit slip road for Dundalk – Drive 300m crossing over the M1 – Take the first exit off the Carrickcarnan Roundabout for Belfast/Newry R132/B113). Carparks on on the left and right – entrance to both via a barrier
Terrain: Hard track, grass, road – uneven and damp in places
Distance: 14km
Services: Tea, coffee and toilets at Carrickdale Hotel (Secret Garden Cafe closed at present)
Minimum Gear: Waterproof footwear, raingear, gloves, hat, water and a snack. We strongly recommend bringing a walking pole/stick.
