Moyry Pass (Gap of the North)
Join guide Dusty on this exploration walk to a place steeped in History. This time we go to the Moyry Pass otherwise known as the Gap of the North .This was an ancient route known as the Slige Midluachra, one of the five ancient roads from Tara .
Our walk is a lovely 4 hour looped walk mainly through woodland with lots of places of interest and a slice of Irish rain forest .
Meet at 9.30 am at the Secret Garden Cafe.
Walk starts at 10am sharp and finishes at approx 2pm.
Parking & toilets at Cafe.
Directions , take exit 20 off the M1 North , take right turn at the top of the slip road and first exit at the next roundabout.
Grade: Moderate to Moderately Challenging in a few places
Breakfast is available in cafe from 9am and lunch upon return.
Please note: no dogs are allowed on this walk.
