History & Heritage Walk N Talk-Dyer Street

Community Historian Brendan Matthews will present the next History & heritage Walk n Talk on Wednesday June 18th next. Starting at the bottom of Meat-Market lane in Dyer Street at 7.30pm Brendan Will elaborate on the origins and the fascinating history of Dyer St over the centuries before walking & talking you through the former Hay-Market, Wellington Quay and Dominic St. to West St. The Walk will then proceed across West St. where Brendan will again speak about some of the fine architecture and tales of Drogheda`s `Storied-Past`. The walk will take around 1-hour to complete.
This a Free event with donations gratefully accepted on the evening for the further research and presentation of Community History.
