Ready for a BIG adventure?

Join Dusty and team as we trek along a section of the wonderful Mourne Way. Starting at the seaside town of Newcastle, Co Down. we will traverse the foothills of the Mournes to reach Spelga Dam. The Mourne way is almost entirely off road, a low level route, partly using old smugglers routes such as “The Brandy Pad”, the Mourne Way is located in an area of outstanding beauty.

Please note:

This linear hike is 20km and will take about 6 hours. Transport is included in the ticket price, with pick ups from Drogheda and Dundalk to the start in Newcastle and collection at Spelga Dam at the finish, returning to Dundalk and Drogheda pick up points following the hike.

This event is limited to 25 participants, coach transport (1.5hours) to and from the hike is included in price.

Leaving Drogheda at 8am travelling to Newcastle, Co Down with pick-up at Dundalk en route. Pick-up points will be confirmed on booking.

Return from route at approximately 5pm.

Level 2: Moderately Challenging

Minimum Gear: Waterproof footwear essential, rain gear, gloves, hat, water and snacks. We recommend bringing a walking stick/pole.

No dogs allowed, other than guide dogs.
